Timelaps – Day 1

Shuji has lost the last month of his life. Now he finds in that time he’s been dating a group of gorgeous, out-of-his-league girlfriends. What happened in that time? And will he be able to turn a group of jealous ex-girlfriends into a harem? Choose how you build your skills and which women you’ll focus on, as you date the girls in order to unravel the mystery.

Our opinion:
So this is the first version of the game. We only have Day 1 to play. And I have to say, this looks promising. I like the art style and as it seems the game is getting a nice story. Nothing to complain here… Well… I have two little negative, nitpick thingies.. One, there isn’t much “action” in this first part. Two: BBBen, the creator of the game wants to tell a rich and big story. He wants to give us many choices and many different options. And here comes a small drawback, he has a lot to tell in this first part. You can see it especially towards the end of the video. A lot of text is coming to the screen. So much that it starts to annoy me a little. And as you can see in the video, I start to skip/scroll fast to it all. A lot of text against almost no action is not a great way to start your first draft of a game, if you ask me.
